Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally ERP or similar accounting software. Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including follow-up for timely collections. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. GST Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-+, etc.) accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with all GST laws and regulations. Reconcile GST accounts, including input tax credit (ITC) and output tax liabilities. Stay updated on the latest GST amendments and their implications. Assist in GST audits and assessments, if required. TDS Compliance: Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS as per applicable rates and regulations. Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) accurately and on time. Issue TDS certificates to vendors and employees. Ensure compliance with all TDS provisions. Handle any TDS-related queries or discrepancies. Reporting & Analysis: Generate various financial reports (MIS reports) as required by management. Assist in financial analysis and budget preparation. General: Liaise with internal teams and external auditors as needed. Maintain organized financial documentation and records. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-5 years of hands-on experience as an Account Executive or Accountant. Mandatory: Proven expertise in GST compliance and TDS regulations, including return filing. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP + or similar. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Immediate joiner preferred. Candidates residing between Dadar to Thane preferred for ease of commute to Vidyavihar.
