Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in handling accounts for an e-commerce company. The role involves managing all financial activities related to online business operations, including transactions, settlements, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in e-commerce accounting and the ability to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complete accounting functions related to e-commerce operations.
Handle online payment gateways, COD settlements, vendor payments, returns, and refunds.
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliations specific to e-commerce transactions.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and budgets to track e-commerce performance.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Work closely with operations, sales, and inventory teams for accurate financial tracking.
Monitor cash flow, profitability, and financial health of e-commerce platforms.
Conduct regular checks and audits to prevent discrepancies and ensure transparency.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, and payment partners for smooth operations.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the accounts department of an e-commerce company.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce financial processes including payment gateways, COD, refunds, and vendor settlements.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and other compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, digital-first business environment.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
