Job Overview
• You will be responsible for the day-to-day account management of the tactical media plans and their proper implementation, working to implement the brand’s overall media strategy in the context of changing marketplace conditions and opportunities.
In this role, your goals will be:
• Demonstrate understanding of the client’s business using data to gain insight on business challenges. You will also be up to speed with the competitor landscape for the client's industry.
• Be the person whom the client goes to for day-to-day digital insight and activities. Begin to propose ideas and activities to answer identified challenges.
Day-to-Day Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
• 25%: Develop holistic and integrated media strategy for agency clients, considering audience segments, media trends, and offline/digital ad formats.
• 20%: Develop and manage media plans; negotiate and coordinate media purchases in collaboration with the media operations team.
• 15%: Manage the day-to-day implementation and optimization of campaign activities.
• 10%: Closely monitor campaigns and executions to ensure agreed KPIs are met or exceeded.
• 10%: Manage campaign authorizations, budgets, and reconciliation process.
• 5%: Interact and maintain rapport with all media publishers.
• 5%: Analyse research data and media/marketing information to share insights with clients.
• 5%: Monitor and assess ongoing campaign performance; assist in strategic campaign analysis.
• 5%: Prepare client reports and other official documents.
• 5%: Recruitment.
• 5%: Research and Development.
• 5%: Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
• Experience in developing and implementing various media strategies.
• Experience in managing both small and large media budgets.
• An independent, self-driven, and responsible individual, with multi-tasking and decision-making abilities.
• Significant proven experience in working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, and media owners.
• Detailed awareness of the advertising industry, industry trends, consumer trends, market status, and competition.
• A depth of understanding of the digital industry and consumer's online media habits
Minimum Qualifications
• MBA or a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in an integrated media planning/buying position, including ATL media, social, and programmatic digital media planning and buying. At least two (2) years of experience in handling digital media campaigns on Google and Facebook.
• Media agency experience is optional but working knowledge of media planning is required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and number skills
• Can communicate ideas to the team and to the client effectively
