Job Title: Accountant (In-House Accounting)
Location: Prahlad Nagar, Ahmedabad
Working Hours: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• In-House Accounting Management: Oversee and manage all in-house accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and summaries on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
• Zoho Books Utilization: Efficiently use Zoho Books for day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies. Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
• Transaction Management: Process financial transactions, maintain detailed records, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Client and Vendor Interaction: Manage relationships with clients and vendors regarding invoicing, payments, and financial queries.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and procedures, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and other accounting software. Familiarity with other financial software is advantageous.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Other Requirements:
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work within the specified hours of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
