About the job:
The Red Hat India Accounting team is looking for a GL accountant to join us preferably based in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will support the complete general ledger accounting activities for multiple country ledgers and other related activities including but not limited to the monthly close of the accounting books, audits and statutory compliances. This role requires active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do:
• To support on one India BU (GLS) related activities including mapping of payments to the opportunity and also the SIP and other incentive calculations.
• Support in India Revenue accounting related activities including support on revenue related queries during statutory audit
• Support in Stat audit for the India entity including preparation of audit schedules, variance analysis etc.
• Assist in submission for various export/ import documents to the bank
• MSME related vendor compliance for RH India entity Assist in new / ongoing projects and other ad-hoc activities as may be assigned time to time
What you will bring:
• CA intermediate with 3+ yrs / Commerce graduate with 6+ yrs of experience
• Good working knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred)
• Conversant with spreadsheet and word processor
• Good analytical skills, diligent and good communication skills
• US MNC experience preferred
• Ability to work under pressure with distributed teams
