Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking full-time Accountant to join our team at Moran Accountants Pty Ltd.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services and ensuring the financial health of our clients.
Duties:
Prepare annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Responsible for financial reporting and analysis on portfolios forecast and actual financial performance.
Prepare and lodge BAS and payments, as well as reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.
Monitor bookkeeping, assets management, and budget project costing.
Prepare month-end reports, manage accounts receivable/payable.
Review financial statements.
Develop, implement, and keep updated all financial policies and procedures, including internal control procedures.
Project costing and capital asset evaluation.
Formulate organisational budgetary and accounting policies.
Ensure statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
Analyse and report on company income and expenditure.
Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
In-depth experience in MYOB, XERO, and other accounting software.
Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to details.
Able to perform under pressure.
