What you will do
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to join our team and support general accounting operations with accuracy, initiative, and innovation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity through journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and eager to apply both accounting expertise and technology tools to improve processes and support decision-making. This position is located onsite in our Greensboro, NC office.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and enter journal entries into the general ledger in a timely, accurate manner
Reconcile account balances and bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
Lead and support month-end close activities, including reporting and system uploads
Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate on finance-related projects and system upgrades or implementations
Research and resolve accounting issues by partnering with relevant business teams
Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries and requests
Provide data and documentation in support of internal and external audits
Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial reports for management and stakeholders
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy
Perform additional accounting-related duties as needed
Who are you?

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred
Prior professional accounting experience, ideally in financial services, is a strong plus
Solid understanding of IFRS accounting principles and financial information systems
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with data tools such as Power BI and Alteryx strongly preferred
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Comfortable working across departments to resolve issues and enhance processes
