Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s & Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for property management or real estate development background.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Closing: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for a portfolio of properties.
General Ledger Management: Review and record complex journal entries, such as depreciation, amortization, and accruals.
Reconciliations & Analysis: Perform bank reconciliations, review accounts payable/receivable, and analyze expense variances against budget.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating annual property budgets, cash flow forecasting, and identifying areas for cost reduction.
Property Operations Support: Collaborate with property managers on CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations, lease administration, and vendor payments.
