Job Purpose
Assist in continuous process improvements in order to drive Global Supply Chain Performance in terms of optimized inventory levels (Working capital improvements) & adequate controls
Accountabilities
• Prepare Annual operating plan for Global Direct Procurement
• Partner with Global Procurement Team in driving decisions on Alternate Vendor Development, Cost Improvement Process and Make vs Buy decisions.
• Track all cost improvement initiatives within Supply Chain and share regular update with leadership team
• Benchmark procurement cost with external database (like Exim, ICIS etc.), identify cost savings and work with supply chain to realize the same
• Cost Analytics: Budget vs Actuals, Trend Analysis and future view on product cost based on latest estimates
• Assess Internal Financial Control (IFC) & Audit recommendation for procurement to achieve compliances
• Identify process gaps & drive automation projects for SCM in the areas of procurement to improve efficiency & controls

CA / ICWA / MBA
