Job description
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess strong business acumen.
Responsibilities:
Process all A/P using QuickBooks as well as internal tools.
Process vendor invoices and check requests assigning appropriate GL account codes.
Manage the accounts payable function within the organization's established policies.
Match Purchase Orders and receiving documents to invoices.
Generate weekly A/P Check Run for approval; then print checks for signature & mail.
Perform other responsibilities as requested by CFO or company management.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Four years experience processing Accounts Payable invoices, preferably in a Construction environment
Prior experience working with an A/P, G/L integrated software system
Advanced level of Excel
Must possess a good understanding of basic accounting principles
Highly efficient and organized
Proven experience as accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
Work Timings:
07.00 PM to 04.00 AM (IST)
