Job Title: Accountant
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and
reconciling accounts.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, and provide recommendations to
improve financial performance.
Prepare and file tax returns and other compliance-related documents in accordance with
regulatory requirements.
Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor actual performance against budget, and recommend
corrective actions as needed.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and financial reporting
requirements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and
collections.
Provide financial advice and support to clients or the organization, including investment
advice, tax planning, and estate planning.
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available to meet financial
obligations.
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred.
At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Must have experience working on Quickbooks or Zoho books.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of tax laws, financial reporting requirements, and accounting standards.
Familiarity with financial analysis tools and techniques
