Role: Accountant Working Days: 5.5 days Location: Gurgaon/ Jhandewalan/Vasant Vihar About the Organisation: Our client is an investment firm that invests in various businesses ranging from growth staged companies to startup. They have invested millions of monies acting as Venture capitalist/Angel Investors. Their mission is to serve the companies not only with funds but various other growth drivers and help them to grow their business to a next level. Job Summary: The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing various accounting tasks with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, particularly in areas such as taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit. Responsibilities • Perform hardcore accounting tasks, including but not limited to, recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. • Conduct bookkeeping activities to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Manage taxation-related activities, including TDS and GST filing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance. • Handle regulatory compliances, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and standards. • Assist in audit processes, including internal and external audits, by providing necessary documentation and supporting audit procedures. • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • CA Inter qualified with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in taxation, with a focus on TDS and GST filing. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements. • Experience in audit processes and procedures is preferred. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
