Job location-Gandhinagar, Gujrat
Experience-1-3 years.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsiblities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage aging data effectively, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.
Conduct physical stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly GST returns, including GSTR-3B, GSTR-1, GSTR-+, and GSTR-+C.
Perform GST reconciliation to ensure consistency between financial records and GST filings.
Respond to audit queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Coordinate and facilitate audits across various departments, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Conduct plant visits and audits to assess operational efficiency, compliance, and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommendations from audits and improve processes.
Stay updated on changes in GST regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding compliance and audit findings.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Process payroll in a timely manner and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
Provide support for audits and other financial inquiries.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
Proficiency in Tally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA certification (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
