About The Role
As an Accounting and Payroll Clerk, you will be vital to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include processing payroll, maintaining precise financial records, and providing administrative support to the accounting and legal teams. You will assist with KYC banking documentation for the accounting and legal departments, manage the corporate card system, and help review expense reports. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processing.
What You'll Do
• Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Process KYC documents with banking institutions.
• Manage the company corporate card system.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts related to payroll.
• Assist with month-end and year-end payroll closing processes.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and payroll processing required.
• Experience with payroll software and accounting systems preferred.
• Experience with global payroll processing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with global payroll processing preferred.
