Controller
Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing and research industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting, with an emphasis on financial analysis and ERP system management.

Focus:
• Oversee all accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the implementation and operation of financial software and ERP systems.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling using advanced Excel techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for operational efficiency improvements.
• Monitor and analyze cost structures, and provide recommendations for cost control and reduction.
• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.
• Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Skilled in using financial software and ERP systems, with experience in SAP, Oracle, or D365 being advantageous.
• Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
