Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a direct hire placement with a manufacturing company located in Camden, South Carolina! With the hybrid schedule, the candidate will need to be on-site two days a week and must reside in South Carolina.

Responsibilities
-Handling monthly closing process to include general ledger updating and preparing & analyzing financial statements
-Monitoring cash balances and forecasting working capital needs
-Preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
-Responsible for inventory calculations and subsidiary account reconciliations
-Maintain fixed asset register, monthly depreciation, and annual property tax return preparation
-Supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable positions, completing credit references and credit checks
-Supplying tax information to accounting firms for annual audit and tax return preparation.
-Coordinate annual business insurance program with agent, including the premium audit process.
-Manage annual reporting requirements
-Supplying real-time information to other departments within the company and its subsidiaries
Requirements
-BS in Accounting or Finance
-Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, manufacturing environment preferred
-Supervisory experience preferred
-Must be an excellent communicator, facilitator, and team leader
-Working knowledge of computerized financial systems and ERP systems
-Microsoft Office applications proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Access, and especially Excel)
