Key Responsibilities
• Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate financial records for the organization using QuickBooks.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded in a timely manner to assist in financial reporting.
• Accounts Management:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile all bank accounts monthly to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial strategy.
• Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Communication:
• Serve as the first point of contact for financial inquiries from clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate financial information to non-financial managers.
Experience/Qualification
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a full-time position.
• Experience with bookkeeping and financial record-keeping systems is essential.
• Skills:
