Reports to: Head of Accounting Japan
Scope of responsibilities:
Lead and ensure accounting / Tax operation and reporting of 1 Japanese legal entities of MAHLE in order to maintain the reliability of financial statements and efficiency of the operation process.
Scope of functions:
1. Accounting
- Timely and accurate preparation and maintenance of all financial statements and internal reports complying with group requirement, German GAAP and Japan GAAP with updating new accounting and tax rules
- Ensure monthly and quarterly closing process and high quality of accounting report package.
- Well-manage external and internal auditors
- External contacts include:
- MAHLE affiliates on all interco reconciliations
- BU controllers in Japan on joint topics, starting with accurals, company valuations and so on
- External auditors on audit planning and excution.
- Internal auditors on all audits performed in Japan.
