Their reputation is built on trust, excellence, and innovation, and as the firm continues to grow, they are seeking a driven Qualified Accountant to join the business.
On offer is a competitive salary plus benefits with the role being based 4 days on site in Glasgow city centre and 1 day from home.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients, offering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.
Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns.
Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering proactive advice.
Support the development of junior team members.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and systems.
Previous Experience
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with proven experience in an accountancy practice environment. Strong technical skills in accounting, tax, and compliance are required as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a large element of the role will include working closely with the firms client base. Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar would be advantageous.
