Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Duties
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Manage technical accounting tasks, including adherence to securities law and regulatory reporting requirements.
Utilize PeopleSoft and QuickBooks for efficient financial management and reporting.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the integrity of cash flow management.
Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
Assist in the preparation of wills, trusts, and estate law documentation as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various financial initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is a plus.
Proven experience in accounting roles with a solid understanding of technical accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft and QuickBooks.
Strong skills in account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and regulatory reporting.
Familiarity with securities law and estate planning is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to mentor others effectively.
