RdF Corporation, a manufacturing facility in Hudson, NH, seeks an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate has a proven cost accountant background and prior manufacturing experience.
Job duties of the Accountant:
Oversight of A/R processing and A/P processing
Accounting for cash transactions and cash flow reporting
Responsible for monthly close including all journal entries and account reconciliations
Reconcile cost of goods sold and inventories
Conduct physical inventories and monitor cycle count program.
Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports to compare standard costs to actual production costs.
Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors effecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Requirements of the Accountant:
Minimum of 2 years of Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with ERP/MRP manufacturing systems.
Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and attention to detail.
Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards.
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Schedule:
This position is full-time, and offers a desirable 9/80 work schedule with alternating Fridays off.
