KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide timely and accurate legal entity and branch Non tech accounting, controlling and reporting tasks according to internal guidelines, regulatory and Group requirements, including closing and reporting of defined entities
• Ensure timely booking of accruals, payroll, fixed assets, tax bookings, intercompany recharges, and other non-technical accounting activities
• Support financial controlling of selected entities with focus on group requirements (payable/receivable signoffs, reconciliations for the accounts under the ownership, and related tasks)
• Provide accurate financial information to the management to enable timely and current decisions to be made
• Financial reporting to local tax teams
• Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
• Support audit activities and prepare requested information
• Participate and support Finance related projects and perform ad hoc tasks as required
• Identify and evaluate process improvement possibilities
Other
• Provide cover for other roles in the team
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required
KEY SKILLS
• 8+ years of work experience in General accounting, reconciliations monthly/Quarterly closing or financial reporting
• Professional degree (MBA/CA/CFA Preferred) in Accounting and/or University degree in the area of finance, accounting, economics or similar
• Profound knowledge regarding accounting policies and regulatory frameworks
• Understanding of accounting cycle financial reporting processes, risk, and controls
• Experience in USGAAP/IFRS desirable
• Adherence to deadlines and ability to work on own initiative and time pressure is a must
• Experience on SAP is must, should have Good comprehension of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Engaged and motivated
