G.A Rogers & Associates has partnered with our Irving, Texas based client in search of a dynamic Oil & Gas Property Accounting Manager to join their growing team.
This is a hybrid role (T,W,R onsite, M,F remote) and offers competitive earning potential ($140,000-$160,000) along with full benefits!

As the Property Accounting Manager, you'll supervise and empower a team to achieve seamless monthly and year-end closes. You'll provide expert guidance on general ledger (GL), revenue, account reconciliations, journal entries, and more.
What You'll Do:
• Orchestrate and oversee the monthly close process for your assigned properties.
• Mastermind revenue and JIB allocations and calculations, with a focus on revenue.
• Meticulously review and post journal entries each month.
• Craft and scrutinize monthly accruals for revenue, expense, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure all journals are completed, documented, and reviewed with the utmost accuracy.
• Analyze and verify reconciled balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Lead the review of accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and JIB accounting.
• Oversee sales and use tax filings.
• Facilitate internal and external audit requests.
• Offer top-notch review, direction, and supervision to your team, stepping in to support them as needed.
• Handle additional oil and gas operational accounting tasks (details provided upon request).
Who You Are:
• A degreed accountant (Bachelor's or Master's) with 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or oil and gas.
• A proven leader with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• A Microsoft Office wiz, particularly Excel. Bonus points for experience with major ERP systems (SAP a plus).
• A clear and confident communicator who can connect with all levels of management.
• A master of juggling multiple complex projects simultaneously, seeing them through to completion under pressure.
• A self-motivated achiever who takes ownership and thrives on delivering results.
• A deadline-driven individual who can independently solve problems as they arise.
• A detail-oriented organizer who can excel in a dynamic environment.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 Per Year
