About the Role
The Accounts Executive takes care of accounting and financial matters within a company such as maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements (balance sheet, P&L etc.), filing returns (GST, TDS etc.), handling accounts receivables and payables, cash management etc.
Responsibilities
• Maintain accounting records on a daily basis in the accounting software
• Create invoices, e-way bills and other documentation when necessary
• Filing returns such as GST, TDS etc.
• Create periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements etc.
• Assisting with tax preparation and audits
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant to get the books of accounts audited
• Manage account receivables and account payables, and coordinate with customers and vendors as required
• Manage daily cash payments
• Performing reconciliation of bank account transactions with accounting entries
• Sharing information and reports with management
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Catpro and Tally
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in English and Punjabi
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
