Job Description -: Accountant (Tally Specialist) The Accountant will manage financial records, ensure compliance, and generate accurate reports using Tally software.The role requires strong expertise in Tally for day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Record Keeping in Tally - Maintain books of accounts (ledgers, journals, vouchers) in - Tally Prime/ERP + - Handle accounts payable (AP) & receivable (AR)in Tally. - Perform bank reconciliations and rectify discrepancies. 2. Financial Reporting & Compliance: - Generate monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) using Tally. - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, etc and other statutory filings through Tally. - Assist in tax audits and prepare necessary documentation. 3 . Track employee expenses : 4. Data Accuracy & Process Improvement: - Ensure error-free data entry and reporting in Tally. - Optimize Tally usage for efficiency (e.g., automation, custom reports). Deliverables: - Accurate Tally-based financial records & reports. - Timely GST/TDS filings and compliance. - Error-free payroll processing. - Properly reconciled bank statements. Performance Metrics: - Accuracy & timeliness of Tally entries and reports. - Compliance adherence (tax filings, audits). - Reduction in reconciliation errors.
