Accountant

The Candidate should have experience in a wide variety of finance-related tasks that are primarily associated with preparing financial records. These tasks oftentimes include computing taxes and preparing tax returns, organizing and maintaining financial records, and ensuring statements are accurate.
This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts, and defining accounting policies and procedures.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Management of company accounting on Tally ERP +, Bank reconciliation, sales, expense booking, MIS financial reports, finalization, audit, and other accounting functions.
Working knowledge of cost center’s Payroll, TDS, Goods & Service Tax, PF, ESIC & PT etc.
Managing all types of TDS return filing and Goods & Service Tax Return filing.
Preparation of Intercompany reconciliations
Preparing Monthly Prepaid Expenses chart & passing journal entries
Fixed Asset Register Preparation & updation, Depreciation Entries
Replying to statutory Notices received from various statutory authorities.
Monthly/Annual Provisions, passing Journal Entries.
Receivable Ageing Report & Analysis
Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results
Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Manage periodical reporting
Oversee external and internal audits
Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts
Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve the cost-related issues

Qualifications

Commerce Graduate, Finance or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
Tally ERP +.0 expertise
Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software (especially Tally)
An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
A keen eye for detail
Organizational and leadership skills
