Job Description
1. To be assistant to the Accounts Head on all matters pertaining to Account.
2. To ensure all statutory compliances especially related to direct and indirect taxes as relates to the construction industry.
3. Ensure that internal processes are in tune with laid down accounting procedures.
4. To ensure TDS are suitably deducted from our vendors/contractors before payments are released.
5. To prepare TDS statements each month and get it approved from the Accounts Head for payment to the IT Department before its due date.
6. To prepare TDS Return for submission to the IT Department of the following month.
7. To prepare GST statement/returns as is the case of TDS defined above.
8. To validate all bills received for payment before obtaining clearance of the
Account Head. While validating he must ensure that all checks and balances
as defined in the SOP on Purchase has been adhered to.
+. To assist all external audit agencies in smooth audit of accounts.
10. To assist the Head Accounts in preparation of Balance Sheets.
11. To prepare Bank reconciliation statement for each accounts of various companies of the group on daily basis and submit to the Head Accounts.
12. To assist Head Accounts in all ROC compliances.
13. To prepare necessary details for claiming offset of taxes where applicable.
