Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Financial Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll records, and inventory transactions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts, working closely with department managers to ensure accurate and realistic financial projections.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the company's accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communication. Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording of customer payments.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to monitor and reconcile inventory levels. Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the analysis.
Compliance and Audit: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary financial documentation and assisting auditors as required. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Payroll Processing: Coordinate and process payroll activities, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Taxation: Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws. Keep updated with tax regulations and advise on potential tax savings or liabilities.
Systems and Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate accounting systems, processes, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Implement changes and enhancements as approved by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred but not required.
Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
High level of integrity and professionalism.

Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
