Job description
We at HCCPL (Himalaya Construction Company Pvt. Ltd.) require competent and hard working Senior Civil Engineers for our Civil Works Contract at Shinkun La Pass, , Himachal Pradesh . The Job Profile requires the Senior Engineer to independently manage and execute the works associated with one end of the Tunnel Project.
Responsibilities And Duties
• Regular inspection and profile checking of the tunnels, roads and other aspects of the civil works of the project.
• Should be able to prepare detailed plan of action for maintenance / rectification of civil structures of the hydropower project, especially tunnels
• Have to prepare reports on daily work activities including progress achieved, breakdowns, requirements, etc
• Should be capable to manage the civil works of one site/face of the project (excavation, lining of tunnel) independently
• Should be able to understand the design / drawings pertaining to civil works (including concrete lining and powerhouse structures) and ensure that the works are carried as per the design / GOC drawings.
• Should be able to prepare the project schedule BOQs for construction/repair of civil works by giving utmost priority to quality and cost.
• Should be able to travel and ready to re-locate to project sites as and when required.
Required Experience, Skills And Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Engineer responsible for managing the construction of Tunnels in either of Irrigation Works, Road Works or Hydro Power Projects.
• Should have a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (Degree preferred)
• Excellent Communication Skills with Good Spoken and written English is preferable
• Should be able to manage 80 - 100 people work team (including engineers, workers, labours)
