Tax Associate / Audit Associate
One of Alaska's largest CPA firms, in business for almost 60 years, offers a range of audit and taxation services, from large corporate entities to individual tax preparation engagements. The firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tax Associate / Audit Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate with 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience. They provide flexible work hours with 32-hour work weeks during the summer and up to 50-hour work weeks during tax season. This is a fully remote position; however the Remote workers MUST reside in either Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Montana.

• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
The Tax Associate / Audit Associate will have varied responsibilities, including:
• Preparation of tax returns
• Conducting audits
• Preparing financial statements
