Job Description
Join us in Group Finance in the Global Impairment team. The team is engaged in Finance processes
which lead to the total impairment provisions calculated by CS for IFRS, US GAAP and CH GAAP.
Your responsibilities include
(a) Identify, participate and lead any improvement projects related to impairment processes
(b) Partner with and assist in resolving various issues in projects, queries raised by stakeholders
and other dept. such as Finance Change, IT, Risk and LEC
(c) Perform centralized finance tasks such as reconciliations, data analysis, reviews and governance
(d) Perform, manage and streamline controls, including SOX controls and other management review
controls
(e) Review the change request documents, providing improvements & suggestions to Finance
Change team
(f) Prepare and review various reports for senior management and external stakeholders like auditors
(g) This is predominantly an individual contributor role with continuous collaboration with people
across levels and functions
Your skills and experience
• Professional accountant viz. CA or CPA or Degree in Finance
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance
• Relevant exposure to different GAAPs and Impairment standards; exposure to IFRS + would be
an added advantage
• Experience in MNC banking organizations is preferred
• Proficient skills with MS Excel are essential
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken English)
