Job Summary:
We are looking for innovative, self-driven, outgoing people with a mind geared towards business, tech development, and high-end customer care. We’re looking to bring on an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to our growing Finance team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable and payable data.
● Process expense reports. Verify and investigate any discrepancies.
Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.
● Facilitate payment of vendor invoices and respond to vendor requests.
● Understand expense accounts including invoice management, payments review, prepayments, employee reimbursements, and credit card expenses management.
● Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-+, sales tax, etc)
Requirements:
● 5 to 8 years of Staff Accountant experience
● Education: UG - B. Com, PG - M. Com, MBA Finance preferred.
● Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
● Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures, and financial records
● Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
● Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, accounting software, and payroll systems
● High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
● Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP
● Strict adherence to confidentiality regulations and ethical standards
Software Knowledge:
● Required: Strong Microsoft Excel skills
● Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Salesforce
● Experience using expense reporting software (e.g. Concur
