Accountant – Vendor Master Data Mgmt.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Vendor Master Management processes, proficiency in multiple ERP setups (SAP ECC, S4 Hana), excellent reporting & analysis skills, and the ability to ensure business continuity within strict SLA and Compliance requirements. This role will support multiple regions. Roles and Responsibilities: Vendor Master Maintenance, Compliance, and Optimization: Daily Operations: Perform daily vendor master data management activities, including reporting, insights, and process improvements. Compliance: Ensure adherence to vendor master processes and policies. Cleanup Projects: Support vendor master data cleanup and optimization projects. Transition Support: Support transition activities from other regions, ensuring smooth handovers. Business Continuity: Maintain business continuity and adhere to SLA requirements. Reporting: Timely collation and submission of reports. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance. Query & Issue Management: Handle queries and manage issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses Functional & Operational Competency Level of Proficiency Required: Basic/Advanced (Define below) Basic Tasks: Solid understanding of vendor master management processes. Hands-on experience with SAP and related projects. Proficiency in MS SharePoint, MS Power Platform, Excel, and MS Office tools. Ability to support multiple regions and act as backup for additional regions. Knowledge of tools like ServiceNow and MDG. Advanced Tasks: Track and manage issues and concerns. Understand and manage work towards satisfying SLAs. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Participate in operational process improvement projects Qualification and Work experience: 3-5 years of work experience in the respective domain or in a related financial domain and good knowledge of accounting fundamentals Should have worked in an SAP environment. Exposure to MDG tool and other MDM framework is preferable Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Technical Skills : Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4 Hana), MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint, ServiceNow, MDG, and MS Power Platform Good verbal and written English communication skills to interact with team and external stakeholders. Working experience in SAP Financials Interpersonal skills (Soft skills) Proficient in written and verbal communication Proficient in Analytical skills Effective time management Problem solving mindset and critical thinking. Stakeholder management To be able to work independently. Ability to work efficiently in a team are critical skills in an ever-changing industry. Taking full responsibility on activity assigned.
