Job Summary
The Record to Report (“R2R”) team is looking for a creative and innovative Lead Accountant to lead the Intercompany and Fixed Assets process. This person will be the subject matter expert and SPOC for worldwide Fixed Assets and Intercompany accounting of the company. This includes managing the intercompany and fixed assets process accounting, and guiding team members in achieving the process objective and reviewing their work. The candidate should have at least ++ years of progressive experience with Intercompany and Fixed Assets accounting process in a shared services operation. Team handling experience required.
What you’ll do:
• Responsible for oversight of all intercompany transactions and processes, including compliance with intercompany transfer pricing agreements, as well as completeness and accuracy of intercompany accounts.
• Responsible for oversight of all Fixed Assets transactions and processes, as well as completeness and accuracy of Fixed Assets accounts.
• Review and approval of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist with quarterly reviews and audits conducted by external auditor.
• Reviewing Capitalization, Depreciation, Retirement and Physical verification of Fixed Assets.
• Identify and implement process improvements, embracing our continuous improvement culture.
• Team handling, monthly and quarterly financial close process handling.
• Review and oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting various schedules for 10Q and 10K reporting to meet the requirements of different stakeholders.
• Liaising with Tax, Treasury, Corp FP&A and BU finance team on the Capex, Depreciation, Cash Flow Capex and Intercompany settlement matters.
• Participate and lead accounting projects as needed.
• This position will support the Management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and the policies.
• Hands on experience with lease accounting is a plus.
• The successful candidate will have a strong desire in innovating processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to company accounting policies, US GAAP, and other external requirements.
Job Requirements
• Prior experience in General accounting desired.
• A team player and detail-oriented person.
• Zeal towards Operational Excellence/Process improvement & simplifications.
• Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures, and US GAAP knowledge.
• Good organizational skills, including prioritization and time management Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.
• An eye for detail and process efficiencies along with the ability to communicate effectively and accurately.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle FA module is mandatory.
Education
10+ years of practical work experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of intercompany, multi-currency, Fixed Assets accounting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree, or equivalent experience.
CA or CPA preferred.
