Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Article Assistant / Accountant to join our tax and audit team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of income tax return filing, GST return filing, and audits. The candidate will assist clients in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing financial statements, and conducting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Income Tax Return Filing:
Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
Maintain proper documentation and records for tax filings.
Assist in responding to tax queries and notices from authorities.
2. GST Return Filing and Litigation:
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
Reconcile monthly and annual GST returns.
Ensure compliance with GST regulations and deadlines.
3. Client Interaction:
Assist in communicating with clients regarding tax-related queries.
Provide guidance to clients on basic compliance matters under Income Tax and GST.
4. Learning and Development:
Actively participate in internal training and workshops related to tax and audit.
Stay updated with the latest amendments and updates in taxation laws and accounting standards.
5. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Pursuing CA/CS/CMA or other related professional qualifications or 1 year experience in any CA firm.
Basic understanding of Income Tax and GST laws.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Tally, etc.).
Attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
