Position: Accounting Associate
Location: Ahmedabad
EcoRight is a young D2C consumer brand founded by IIM Calcutta Alumni. We create
sustainable products from organic cotton, jute and recycled plastic bottles. We retail our

We are looking for an Accounting Associate for our Finance Team.
Job role and responsibilities
• Supervise and manage timely execution of payments including but not limited to salary payments, TDS payments, GST payments, Professional tax payments, payments to vendors etc.
• Compute and manage timely filing of tax returns (TDS, Income Tax, GST etc.)
• Manage and liaise with external stakeholders including banks
• Ensure proper accounting practices are followed, track payments and receivables
• Supervise and ensure accuracy in stock statements, payment reconciliation, bank reconciliation etc
• Manage monthly balance sheets and P&L statements
• Create accurate export documentation. Regular reconciliation of export invoices with inward remittances
• Calculate and manage Customs and VAT payments in accordance with local laws in the US, UK and EU
• Undertake other ad-hoc projects on need basis
Requirements/Qualifications
• B.Com + M.Com/C.A. (Intermediate)
• 2-5 years of accounting and taxation experience
• Working knowledge of the E-commerce industry
• Prior experience in exports
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and taxation (TDS, GST etc.)
• Strong understanding of various laws and regulations
• Should be conversant with Tally ERP Software
• Knowledge of EU and UK VAT payments is very useful
