Job Description
We are looking for an experienced accountant/ junior accountant to join our team as an Export Documentation and Benefits accountant for our hand embroidery export company based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have
a thorough knowledge of export documentation, export benefits such as RODTEP, export-related bank correspondence, GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, PT, over and above the Indian accounting know-how.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining and updating records of financial transactions related to exports.
• Preparing and verifying all export-related documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements related to exports.
• Liaising with banks for all export-related transactions and ensuring timely submission of documents.
• Handling all queries related to export benefits such as RODTEP, GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, PT, along with
• salary working and other regulatory compliances.
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure that all exports-related documentation is in order.
• Providing support to the finance team in managing daily accounting activities such as ledger entries, bank reconciliation, etc.
• Analyzing financial data and providing timely and accurate reports to management.
• Ensuring that all accounting records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance.
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in export
• documentation and benefits. Candidate with 2-3 years experience in accounts can also apply
• In-depth knowledge of export documentation, export benefits such as RODTEP, export-related bank
• correspondence, GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, PT, over and above the Indian accounting know-how.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
