Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: In Office (some flexibility w/ Hybrid)

What you'll be doing:
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with legal guidelines.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, journal entries, and audit work papers.
• Provide guidance to senior accountants and managers, collaborating with corporate leadership to develop internal controls and policies.
• Assist with tax reporting and participate in hiring and performance reviews for the accounting team.
• Resolve issues and handle sensitive situations, performing additional duties as assigned by senior management.
What they're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree (Required); CPA eligibility or certification (Preferred).
• Minimum 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience desired
• Expertise in accounting and financial principles, with experience in intercompany transactions and expense billbacks.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Acumatica, Entrata).
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively.
