Key Responsibilities:-
Responsible for managing service delivery for accounting and reporting processes accounting as per IAS/ IFRS, Balance Sheet reconciliations, MIS reporting and Month-end closing.
Responsible for preparation and filing of statutory financial statements under applicable local GAAP and IFRS
Maintain statutory compliance in the India region including coordination with tax and legal functions, and external audit provider.
Lead an organization of individual contributors.
Provide accounting guidance to team on day-to-day accounting matters.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures, and control environment.
Measure process performance with appropriate KPIs and metrics and publish the same regularly to senior management as well as within the team.
Continuous and demonstrable improvement of productivity resulting in increased service productivity.
Ensure and monitor those processes are in place to provide sustainable and consistent service quality through rigorous management of change control and acceptance into service procedures.
Ensure resources, capabilities and capacity to meet both existing and new business demand;
Provide expert problem management support to difficult, high profile customer issues and ensures root-cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with any learning applied for future benefit.
Champion team-working and knowledge sharing and promote the increased use of shared services capability.
Assist with planned ERP implementation and international expansion in the region
Who you are?
As an Accounting Manager based in Pune location for our Financial Shared Services team you would be Responsible for Accounting team of Finance Shared Service in the areas of Accounting, Audits, India taxations and reporting along with people management
What you can be?
Must be a Chartered Accountant (Any additional qualifications would be an added advantage)
Seasoned accounting professional with 6+ years of experience
People & Team management experience is a must have
Sound knowledge of Accounting Standard - IAS and IFRS preferred
Strong knowledge of Indian compliance in the areas of financial reporting and taxes
Experience in ERP implementation would be a big plus
Experience of working in a shared service model is a big plus
Capacity to assess process and internal control weaknesses and identify improvements
Strong attention to detail, natural curiosity with ability to problem-solve creatively
Exceptionally effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
