Job Description
A growing financial services firm is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This role supports a regulated brokerage platform and partners closely with leadership on financial reporting, regulatory filings, and accounting across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
• Oversee key accounting and financial reporting processes across regulated financial entities, including broker-dealer operations.
• Support broker-dealer regulatory reporting, including preparation and review of FOCUS reports and Net Capital (15c3-1) calculations.
• Ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA regulatory requirements, including Rule 15c3-1.
• Assist with the month-end close process, including account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services or public accounting.
• Experience working at or supporting a broker-dealer, ideally within a self-clearing environment.
• Familiarity with FOCUS reporting and Net Capital (15c3-1) calculations.
