Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team who will have the opportunity to champion our for Global Finance services Division.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Chennai - Brigade World Trade Center
What you will do
Job Roles and Responsibilities
• Managing People
• Cost monitoring and analysis
• Operations and/or product budgeting and expense analysis
• Capital expenditure forecasting and reporting
• Supports Cat Digital Platform Team
• Participate and/or Lead Process Improvement Initiatives
Candidates should have below:
• 4-year degree preferably in accounting, finance or business-related degree
• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Proven record of strong initiative, leadership, accountability, and effective communication skills
• Shift Timings -Regular Shift-But would be flexible to stretch few days as in when needed to meet deadlines.
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
• Professional Certification (Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent)
Skills desired:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Contributes to short-term operational plans.
• Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
• Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
• Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.
• Under guidance, develops tactical plan for own direct responsibility.
