Position - Accounting Manager
Company - Private Equity
Location - Downtown Chicago, hybrid
Compensation - $140K + bonus
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
• Review books & records, financial statements, & capital account statements for management company & various affiliated entities & certain PE funds
• Manage team of staff & senior accountants
• Lead team to ensure optimal efficiencies by reviewing current processes
• Supervise monthly & quarterly close process
• Supervise completion of related support & control documentation
• Review capital call & distribution allocations
• Assist with management company forecasting & reporting
• Prepare & review expense allocations to ensure compliance
• Prepare & review responses to SEC inquiries/audits
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting and/or at an investment management firm
