Position Overview
Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their finance team in a fully remote capacity. As a key member of the finance team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
The role requires monthly travel to the company’s headquarters for collaboration and strategic meetings.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with internal standards.
• Manage and oversee general ledger activities , including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis .
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Provide financial analysis for special projects, including potential M&A activities and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role, ideally within an international or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of internal accounting standards and financial reporting .
• Experience working with remote financial operations and digital collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
