Job Description
The role will be to provide financial support on global tasks, projects and process documentation. This person will be the first point of contact and responsibility for creating new WBS & closing old WBS in SAP for different entities and provide other SAP support.
Duties & Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Create different types of Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) in SAP for different entities as required. Ensure that they are created with the correct type, RA key, and settlement rule.
- Close old WBS after review by in-country teams, ensuring that no financial balances remain on WBSs.
- Review COPA data and identify inconsistencies/issues, perform reconciliations and assist in the issue resolution process.
- Supporting the production of KPIs and tracking the status of SAP enhancements through to delivery
- Supporting the creation of global process documentation needed to be complaint with ICFR (Internal control over financial reporting framework).
- Communication: maintain open and clear lines of communications with all relevant stakeholders, working closely with a global team.
- Continuous Improvement: drive efficiencies within the team and occasionally the wider business, including looking for opportunities to transfer further transaction processing work into shared services. Challenging the business on areas of process and cost control.
- Ad-hoc projects/requests: complete various ad-hoc projects as required, including the opportunity to get involved in SAP enhancements.
The Individual
What you'll definitely need:
- Graduate/post-graduate/MBA (Finance)
- SAP experience required
- Strong Excel skills
- Diligent and flexible individual able to follow documentation precisely while also identifying improvements to processes
- The ability to tackle technically complex problems and to understand when to escalate issues
- The ability to engage, challenge and work effectively with others.
- The ability to build an effective network of internal relationships
- Able to communicate clearly in fluent spoken and written English.
- Willing and able to identify and support change and continuous improvement in own and wider business environment.
- Demonstrates the required functional and/ or technical knowledge and skills to achieve the highest level of accomplishment.
