Description
Accounting for bank and treasury activity in LAA/APAC region.
- Coordinate with treasury team and local team to ensure all bank & treasury entries are posted as per the accounting standard and monthly bank reconciliations are prepared/reviewed within the set deadline.
- Maintain bank master data in treasury application such as chart of accounts, interface tables etc.
- Run daily interface between treasury application and SAP. Troubleshoot any issues with the Treasury group and / or experts in USA.
- Check the imbalances related to the In-House bank: loan principal, interest and IHB charges, before closing.
- If imbalances exist, find the issue and troubleshoot with Treasury, SME's or others as needed.
- Perform regular checks on intercompany loan imbalances, SAP vs treasury application, In House Bank imbalances, check that intercompany loan netting was done correctly.
- Review of manual journal entries related to bank and select treasury GL accounts
- Review of bank reconciliations in Blackline application
- Act as focal point for Autobank rules for F&S: bank charges, interest, withholding tax and any other entries.
- Provide necessary guidance to B&T associates in their day-to-day operations.
