About the role
This role is about protecting a treasury that’s growing quickly :). As we traverse the journey from $5M to $50M in ARR over the next couple of years, we want to ensure the highest level of financial rigour from the early days to lay a strong foundation for growth over the years. Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about numbers? We're looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.
What you’ll do
• Maintain accurate financial records and handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Support internal audits and reviews of financial data.
• Manage fixed assets and maintain depreciation schedules.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Take on other accounting-related tasks as needed by the finance team.
What makes you a good fit
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books (or similar tools) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Salary and Location
Location: Bangalore
Expected CTC: We pay top of market for the right folks and also offer generous equity (ESOP) to everyone in the team
