Minimum 4 years of progressive related work experience
General knowledge of accounting and understanding of accounts payable procedures
Effective computer skills, including use of Excel and proficient use of MS Word and MS Outlook
Ability to perform a volume of numerical detail work on 10-key with speed and accuracy
Responsibilities
Accounting Supervisor – Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date
Answer accounts payable and receivable inquires and follow up as necessary
Assist in generating accounts payable payment disbursements
Assist in updating subcontracts payables system
Disburse subcontractor payments once compliance is confirmed
Review and process invoices using Accounts Payable automated system and accounts payable inbox
Research vendor payments as needed
Scan incoming payments to create daily deposits
Key checks and payments as needed
Assist with Payment Applications – Pay Apps – monthly
