Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented CAPEX Payable Specialist to join our Finance Operations team. The role will be responsible for managing Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) related Accounts Payable activities , monitoring invoice aging, coordinating with accountants and business users for approvals, and ensuring timely closure of purchase orders and invoice settlements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AP processes, invoice reconciliation, and stakeholder coordination .
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain CAPEX invoice aging reports and follow up with accountants and end users for timely resolution.
Create and manage follow-up reports for PO closures and ensure all capital expenditure purchase orders are closed appropriately.
Coordinate with end users and internal stakeholders to resolve pending invoice approvals .
Support in clean-up and reconciliation of aging invoices from AP systems related to CAPEX.
Ensure accurate recording and processing of CAPEX invoices in accordance with finance policies and accounting standards .
Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies related to invoices and purchase orders.
Maintain proper documentation and compliance with internal audit and financial controls.
Identify process improvement opportunities within the CAPEX AP workflow to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
~5–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Finance Operations , preferably handling CAPEX or Fixed Assets related invoices .
~ Strong understanding of invoice processing, PO lifecycle, and financial controls .
~ Experience in aging analysis, reconciliation, and reporting .
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
~ Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
~ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in shared services or global finance operations .
Exposure to CAPEX accounting, fixed assets processes, or project-related procurement .
