Job description
Roles and Responsibilities of Account Manager -
1. Accounting Operations-
Finalizing Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Notes on Accounts
Co-ordinating with statutory auditors for finalizing financials
Monitoring Treasury function - Optimum utilization of funds
Monitoring Vendor Payments, Debtors Collection, Admin Expenses
Follow-up with respective departments for activities
Monthly Bank Recon & Cash flow statement
Preparation of Yearly Budget
2. Statutory Compliance-
PF, TDS, PT, GST, Advance Tax etc. Payments & Returns
Ensuring preparation of various reconciliations under GST
RBI Compliance - Timely & correct Submission of Shipping Bills & BOE\'s
Secretarial Compliance ( ROC ) - Ensuring all meetings, Minutes, Resolutions, Filing of various returns, forms etc on or before the due dates.
Ensuring all records are maintained as per statute
3. Management Oriented Tasks-
MIS Reports - Monthly as per list
Special Purpose MIS as and when required by the management.
Drafting and Implementing various Standard Operating Procedures ( SOP)
Highlight management for improvement in Areas
4. Assessments & Banking Operation-
Complete various assessments like VAT, Income Tax, GST etc
Co-ordinate with consultants regarding appeals and other tasks
Co-ordinate with bankers for Account Opening, Account Closure, LC Facilities, Bank Guarantees etc
5. Others Responsibilities-
Ensuring timely and accurate payment of Utility Bills (Electricity, Water, Property Tax, Rent, Telephone, Mobile Exp. Etc )
Proper Allocation of works amongst team and reviewing the same on regular basis. Responsible for conducting meeting withing the department.
/ intra department whenever needed.
Work to support new technologies, new software etc.
coordinating with various consultants for various activities
Any Other tasks as and when required by the management.
Desired Candidate Profile
We need B.Com. Inter CA with 20 years experience or CA with 10 years experience.
The candidates must now be in managerial position.
