We are experiencing strong growth and have an exciting roadmap full of opportunity in the Australian financial landscape.Job Description:We're looking for an Accounts Assistant with a sharp eye for detail, positive energy and a can-do attitude to work across a large range of duties and tasks within our finance function. As part of the finance team, you are a key part of the engine that keeps bills being managed, book-keeping be kept up to date, systems and records being maintained and ultimately ensuring a high level of hygiene across a number of critical business areas.An idea of the duties you can expect to be a part of:- Assisting with any customer enquiries- Working with the sales team for outstanding customer purchase orders, resolving invoice disputes and discrepancies- Maintenance of the accounts receivable contacts database (spreadsheet)- Prepare weekly accounts receivable aging reports- Monthly reconciliation of Sales Register and MYOB Revenue.- Assist with the tracking of all incoming suppliers' invoices- Preparation of Invoice Approval Forms- Assist with timesheet approvals- Provide administrative assistance to the Assistant Accountant where neededQualifications:Ideally you will have skills similar to the below- 12 months commercial experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping- Experience with MYOB- Raising invoices- Entering invoice approvals- Staff expenses- Customer statement generation- Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills- Proficient in data entry and management- Diploma or Certificate qualification in Bookkeeping or AccountingAdditional InformationAbout you- Excellent written communication skills.- Natural curiosity and drive to solve problems- Demonstrated capacity to learn new skills as required- Attention to detail- Demonstrated ability to meet and maintain deadlines- Strong analytical skills- Confidence to proactively seek ways to provide better service to clientsWhat's next?Drop us your resume and let's chat
